[Oak Creek] Backyard Beekeeping Workshop with Patrick Pynes

Backyard Beekeeping Workshop, March 31

The upcoming Backyard Beekeeping Workshop with Patrick Pynes will be a great opportunity for you to learn the basics of top bar beekeeping.  Hosted by Patrick Pynes, a regional beekeeper and professor at Northern Arizona University, you will  learn about establishing and monitoring a honeybee colony in northern Arizona.  Not only does beekeeping help counter the industrialized extinction of the honeybee but also allows you to create a meaningful relationship with another unique and wonderful animal.

This event is part of Gardens for Humanity’s 4th Annual Spring Planting Festival.  For more information and to register, please visit Gardens for Humanity.

There will also be other awesome honey bee related events in the future and we will do our best to post the information when we come across it!
